In regards to the Old People collection in NG, I don't think it's fair to make fun of the elderly.
Why? Because we will be like them someday.
So, my opinion isn't of course going to change Tom Fulp's mind, but I think he should remove that collection.

While looking through the BBS, there was this thread on anime, and there was this guy who said that anime focuses more on artwork, while the Western style (Westime?) focuses on animation.
So that got me thinking: If you took anime artwork and Western animating styles and combined them (technicalities aside), what would you get?

Just recently, the display on my laptop went funny.
I took it in for repair, and it ca nbe fixed, but it's going to cost something
Earlier on, my sound also began to go funny, and the guy said that the sound and display problems are related, so basically I have to fix the display before I can have sound, and that's not good for me as a Flash author who works all day, every day.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

You almost never see black people in anime?

because it's hopeless. I'm not surprised at all that Vista is dead, because it's absolutely useless. XP may be older, but it's better!
All those useless sounds, animations and stuff that just suck out processor speed, and it takes so long to calculate anything.
I hope Windows 7 is better.

Yeah, that's right. All i get are stupid loud beeps in the place of sound.
It started as the sound not being there sometimes, then I would have to reboot the system a few times to get it back, then it vanushed and after a long time, reappeared, but the next time I started it, it was gone. Now it's gone entirely. I happen to think that a virus may have caused this. Problem is, it I have to wait until Friday next week before I can download an antivirus to get it off my laptop.
But another suspicion I'm having is that it may be doe to my laptop getting old. But then 've never heard of a laptop losing sound capabilities because of age.

Our current landlord has decided to evict us, because we haven't been too good about paying oru rent, and so Mom has been looking for a new house to live in, but the only ones she's found are in the sticks, far away from civilisation, modern comforts like Internet cafes, restaurants, things like that. I don't mind moving from our house, but I definitely mind moving from our neighborhood. And that'll make things hard, when my school is in town.
So if we move, chances are that Lord Hayden will not be heard from again for awhile.
I don't want to move from our neighborhood...

And we're staring 2010 right in the face.
2009 hasn't been so great for me, and considering that we are moving early next year, i don't think I'm shaping up for a happy new year.
Why do we welcome it with jubilation anyway? and why so people say "Happy New Year" long after it has come, even right into the end of January? It's not new anymore by then. IMO, people should day it only on New Year's Day. After that they should shut up.

Recently, I typed something for the forums, saved it on my Flash, then went down to the café and plugged it in to use it, and when I went to open the txt. file, I found that what I had typed was gone, and there was this message saying that if I wanted my stuff back, to send an email or something like that to some address. Of course, I had the wisdom not to do it.
But then I downloaded some voice acting material, and in place of what I had expected, I found some audio reading of the same message I had found there on the txt messages I had lost.
On top of that, it also put this Microsoft Excel-like file(with that as its filename) on my Flash disk. And from experience I have learned that when there are weird files on your computer, and you have no idea how they got there, it's best to assume that it's a virus.
And there must not be any updates for it, because at all the places I had scanned, it said that the flash was clean.
I wish I could find that moron who made it and rip his arms off, he deserves it.

We're into December, only a few weeks till Christmas. Personally, I am not all that excited about it. Just another Christmas to end the year, only I'm a year older. My main objective is getting my two ongoing projects done before then, which are now taking up loads of time.
I can see it's high time I uploaded something.
Just recently I tried drawing a girl fbf, and it was very hard, especially since I have little experience in female anatomy. However, it's a good thing I have my Wacom pen tablet for these things, cuz trying to do it a mouse would probably drive me insane.
I have also experimented with two and one-point perspective, and I came up with some half-decent backgrounds, better than what has sbeen in my previous stuff. Also, I'm gaining quite a bt of experience doing fbf, which will be useful when making HSM 3.
I don't think I'll be able to make a Christmas Flash this year though.
I read in a Christian magazine that Jesus has been taken out of Christmas(the holdiay before meant to commemorate His brith) and they're making a fuss out of it. Personally, I think it's no cause for alarm. In the beginning, Christmas was originally a festival for the sun god or something like that, until Emperor Constantine changed it to observe Christ's birth. So basically Christmas has just gone back to what it used to be. I, however dislike the sales and offers they make, using it as an opportunity to get more cash.
So here we go again, another year gone, and then a new one.
What lies ahead in 2010?
